Discover the foundations of traditional oil painting in this inspiring 4-week course, exploring classical techniques through the creation of a beautifully observed still life. Working from a carefully selected reference, you'll learn how to build a painting step by step, from the initial drawing and tonal structure through to colour, glazing and final details. We'll explore how classical painters created convincing form, depth, texture and atmosphere through careful observation and layered paint application. Once a course has started, it cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. If you are unable to attend any session during the course, no refunds or credits will be issued, as costs are committed for the full course duration. If you wish to cancel your place, you must do so at least 7 days prior to the course start date to receive a full refund. We appreciate your understanding in helping us run our courses smoothly and fairly for all participants.
