🎨 Alla Prima Landscape Oil Painting – One-Day Workshop Discover a faster, more expressive approach to landscape painting in this focused 4-hour oil painting workshop. Alla Prima — meaning “at first attempt” — is a direct, wet-on-wet method where colours are mixed and applied while the paint is still fresh. Rather than building multiple layers, you’ll learn to make confident decisions about colour, value, shape and brushwork to create a finished landscape in a single session. Students can attend multiple times to continue developing decisive observation, colour mixing, brush handling and confidence while adapting the same Alla Prima principles to different landscapes, light and atmosphere. 🎨 What’s Included Oil paints, mediums, professional painting materials, landscape reference imagery and one A3 canvas. 🖌️ What to Bring Your own oil painting brushes and an apron or suitable clothing. We recommend bringing a combination of synthetic and hog brushes. Dan typically begins with synthetic brushes, such as Rosemary & Co Evergreens, for the initial stages before moving onto firmer hog brushes as the painting develops. This allows you to explore how different brush types handle and move wet oil paint. 🌟 Who Is It For?
