The Alla Prima method—Italian for “at first attempt”—embraces a wet-on-wet approach, allowing you to complete an oil painting in a single session with confident, fluid brushwork. In this 4-hour workshop, you'll explore this dynamic, direct technique in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner ready to dive in or a more experienced painter wanting to loosen up, this session is an energising way to develop your skills. Taught by professional artist Dan Bethell, this class focuses on working intuitively, capturing form, light, and colour all at once.
