🚀 Space Adventures with Acrylics – A Creative Painting Workshop for Children Aged 8+! 🌌🪐 Blast off into a universe of creativity at Cheshire Art Classes with our exciting Space Adventures acrylic painting workshop! In this immersive 3-hour session, young artists will create their own colourful space-themed masterpiece inspired by swirling galaxies, distant planets, glowing stars, moons and cosmic skies, all while learning essential acrylic painting techniques in a fun and inspiring studio environment. Taught by professional artists Dan Bethell and Caroline Jones, this workshop gives children the opportunity to experience painting like a real artist. Each child will work at their own professional easel using high-quality acrylic paints, brushes, palettes and a canvas panel to create a painting they’ll be proud to take home. In this session, your child will: 🎨 Learn how to mix colours and create a vibrant cosmic palette 🌌 Explore acrylic techniques including blending, layering, stippling and texture 🪐 Learn how to create planets with highlights, shadows and three-dimensional form ✨ Experiment with splattering and mark-making to create stars, galaxies and atmospheric effects ☄️ Explore light, movement and contrast to bring their space scene to life 🖼️ Create their own large space-themed painting on canvas 🌟 We supply everything — just bring an apron or old clothes and a water bottle. 🚀 Perfect for beginners and budding young artists alike, this workshop is designed to build confidence, creativity and painting skills in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. 🖼️ Each child will leave with a finished canvas artwork ready to display at home. ⏰ Includes guided tuition throughout the full 3-hour session, with a short refreshment break included. 🎟️ Spaces are limited to ensure every child receives individual support and encouragement. 👩‍🎨 With small group sizes and high demand, early booking is essential!
