I’ve been quietly practising and exploring the medium in the background, learning how to embrace the soft delicate nature of watercolour whilst also pushing saturation and tonal depth. Join us for a one-off introductory session designed specifically for beginner and amateur artists eager to explore the world of watercolours! This hands-on class will guide you through the fundamentals of creating soft botanical watercolour paintings - exploring gentle colour layering - understanding hard and soft edges - and steadily building tonal depth and saturation. Throughout the session, you’ll create elegant floral study inspired by expressive botanical forms and contemporary watercolour techniques.
