Cheshire Art Classes are offering a one-off introduction to portraiture - focusing on skin tone palettes and wet-on-wet techniques, perfect for beginner and amateur artists! This session focuses on teaching you how to mix a complex skin tone/flesh tint palette. Learn how to paint portraiture in a series of structural marks in order to build the dimension of a face. We will focus on wet-on-wet techniques to loosely blend our tones into beautiful soft skin tones - whilst maintaining strong facial contouring and shadows. Everyone in the class will complete their own painting study of a portrait as a group. Please note we will be working from imagery - rather than a sitter - this makes it easier for beginners to draw. Canvases and materials are included in the session fee. Max of 8 participants per session.
