Service Description

Colour Mixing – Landscape Edition Inspired by Mitchell Albala’s The Landscape Painter’s Workbook, this immersive and hands-on workshop explores the power of a limited palette. You’ll work with Cadmium Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Crimson, and Raw Umber—a carefully selected range that provides both warm and cool variations to help you master landscape painting. While many landscape palettes include additional colours such as Cobalt Blue, Prussian Blue, Viridian, and Yellow Ochre, this streamlined selection will allow you to develop a deeper understanding of colour relationships, tonal balance, and atmospheric depth. What You’ll Learn ✔ Create a landscape-focused colour mixing chart to explore a full spectrum of hues and values. ✔ Learn to mix primary colours to achieve warm, cool, and neutral tones. ✔ Apply your new colour-mixing skills in a small landscape study, focusing on atmosphere and depth. ✔ Receive personalised guidance in an intimate small-group setting (maximum 8 participants). Workshop Details 🕙 Time: 10am – 2pm 👥 Maximum Participants: 8 🎨 Materials Provided: Fabriano Paper and all painting materials. 📌 What to Bring: An apron/suitable clothing and personal brushes. This workshop is perfect for artists of all levels who want to refine their landscape painting skills and gain confidence in working with a limited palette.
